Lost!
Last time we found some clothing, it was a brown glove in the toilets, this time, I have no idea what we have.

It could be a do-rag but the again it might not be as it was outside the primary school. Still those gang bangers are getting younger so it could be some yr 4 kid gone to a life of crime early. His blood are going to bust his chops for losing his rags though. I'd hate to be in his club meeting when he fesses up.

Brown Glove AWOL
It's been a while since my last clothing loss update. Maybe it's because it's winter and people are more wary of their clothing. Maybe I haven't noticed as many or maybe I've been lazy.
Anyways, by RWOC records, the last lost clothing update was May 11 and that is truly ages. So without any further adieu, I bring you our latest article.
It is brown glove.

It looks sturdy and leather but what was it doing in the toilets by itself? Its owner would had to have taken it off to wash his hands but how could he just walk out without it? The one warm hand, one cold hand would've given it away I would imagine.

Cold
It's so cold I went searching for a jumper and found my old school jersey. It still fits but I think it made my eyes itchy. It's warm but a lot scratchier than I remember it.
I'm also wearing some track pants. They're black and warm as well. The main point is that I'm not cold anymore.

Losses are Massive
It’s been a while since someone’s lost something but it’s happening again. As the mercury falls, so too do the accessories.
First up is this scarf.

Its placement on the railing is no accident. I believe it’s climbed up the nearest vantage point and is looking for it’s owner. It’s a sad story that we’ve seen far too many times on RWOC. Godspeed little scarf.
Next up is Glove.

Wanna be my Glover? Good ol fashioned Glover boy? Glove.fm? I wanna glove you right? None of these hits apply to this lonesome wee fellow. Glove and other catastrophes more accurately sums up its bleak future.

Thermos and Bag
Two very different items, two very differnet locations however they shared a similar fate: abandonment.

The first, above, is a toiletry bag. Last seen at Epping station it was dirty, battered and left alone. T-Bag as it's finder affectionately calls it, faces an uncertain future in a world that no longer cares for it's bright orange optimism.

The second is a thermos. Last seen at Kirribilli fraternising with empty longneck bottles of VB, it is the last place that it's makers would've imagined it. Just like the shadow artistically breaking the light of this photo, it's future is cast in shadow and doubt.

Bonnet Down!
The lost clothing phenomenon continues.

There's going to be a small child with a cold head in the big city tonight.

Hankie Pankie
Snot really clothing but I'm going to tag it that way. I like to think that someone lost it on the way to the a dance so they could boogie. What did the hankie say about the nuclear powered nose? He's going to Mucus (Muke us) Geddit?
If you can think of any other booger gags you're more than welcome to add it.
As I said it's not clothing unless you're a baby or a really poor hooker, but let's pretend so I don't need to reorder the tag system.

Voltron Shoes!
I got some Reebok Limited Edition shoes for my bday from Ris. They kick ass.
I got the Red Lion ones cos they go faster. Here's all five of them in a row.

Here's the back of the black one.

If I could let a shoe impregnate me I would so totally let it. I would bear little spiky haired trainers in 5 colours and we would live in the side of a mountain and be blissfully happy.

When will they learn?
I find a lot of discarded items but this one just makes me sick.

It looks like a girl's thong. Makes me so very, very sad. It's so close to freedom but it's still enclosed in concrete, steel and glass. It will never know love and that is the ultimate tragedy.

Thong Meets Tragic End
You may recognise this guy.

We last saw him here on December 5. Now he's lying in the gutter. His body is broken and he's living in waste. I wish I'd done something more for him but it's a ridiculous notion. I can't save every homeless shoe out there. I'm not a centipede.

Patterns on Patterns
It used to be a trend in mid 2005. I'm wearing a striped jersey with a checked business shirt underneath and I look like a twat. I don't think I'll do it again. I feel so low.

Shoes on the Bin
Another installment in what seems to be an endless saga. Shoes on the street!

Come on man! These still look totally wearable!
If I were a forensic investigator I'd try to link the pizza box folded and stuffed in the bin with the shoes. Something like hallucinogenic mushrooms as a topping forced some young emo to take of their checked vans and walk the streets shoeless but I'm not an investigator and if I was it would be a waste of time and resources wouldn't it? We'll just have to wonder.

Shoes Glorious Shoes!
I lie. They ain't glorious at all. They're just lost.
I've commented on lost shoes before over here. Well here's the latest installment.

What's with shoes and Epping Station? What's with this shoe in particular? It looks quite nice. I'd be really pissed off if I lost it. Whatever happened to no shoe left behind? I hope you're in a better place brother.

Do you know how hard it was to take this photo? It wasn't an extreme angle of difficulty, it's just that you look like a nob pointing a camera in the air in the middle of the road at a potential crack dealers shoes. Who are these crack dealers to throw their shoes on overhead lines anyways? They must have a lot of money and shoes to be able to advertise in such a fashion. Why not make a sign, take out an ad or get someone to wear a sandwich board. Think crack heads.

These aren't lost shoes but I'm hoping for their sake they get lost. This is a fashion that follows hot on the heels of thongs and socks or sandals and socks. It's the Crocs and Socks. It's this mental dude on the train who looks a little bit like Brett Whitely, a little like Martin Bryant. He looks tough and wiry though and so I had to stand behind him, pretend I was msging someone and snap away. Technology these days, oh yeah!

People lose their shoes - Update!
These were at Epping station last night.

Part of me wanted to pick them up and take them home and the other part said that I'd look like a miscreant and a hobo if I did. Besides I was already wearing shoes and these thongs were damp. No one likes a damp thong...or maybe they do.
Anyways, why do people keep losing their footwear? The mind wobbles or gobbles or

Nice work Cashman! Visual humour, you rock!

People lose their shoes.
I've noticed an alarming trend of shoes on the road recently. Take these cases in point.

What are these people doing? A shoe is generally something you’d notice losing unless you’re an amputee and then you wouldn’t bring it with you in the first place. I wonder if there’s an amputee co-op where they can hook up to save on footwear. You couldn’t advertise in the back of a paper for that.
“Left footed amputee looking for like minded Right Foot amputee for shoe buying. Must be a size 9 ½ US or 43 European Mens and like leather insoles, sandle wearers need not apply”
You’d have to be really careful with the wording of the ad too. “You said left footed amputee in the ad, I thought you meant that you were missing your left foot not the other way around. You’re a joke mate, crippled and illiterate.” Awkward.
Shoes. You just can't figure em out can you?
